Ontario forest maps in PDF

Some maps of: 1. Limerick forest

2. ganaraska forest

3. larose forest

 

Directions: 1. Take 20 west of Montreal until 401 -- keep on 401 past Cornwall.

- At Prescott, exit 401 on Edward Street and drive 14 km. north -- go by large s-bend and keep going.

Road will come to a T stop and continue north on gravel road -- an arrow points north

to Limerick Forest

- Watch for trail openings to right but best to start at huge gravel pit ( see map )

2. Ganaraska Forest

- west on 401 almost to Bomanville - go north on 115. until Porter Road exit near Pontypool.

- drive until end of paved road. At Stop there is an entrance -- unload and ride from there.

- you can turn right and drive for 1 minute to: Sandaraska Camp Grounds

- here, you can camp as long as you do not ride bikes in the park -- dual purpose is okay.

- You can also buy daily passes at the office of the campground.

- see map of the trails -- can get lost in this forest also.

3. LaRose Forest -- 30 min. south of Ottawa

- Take the 40 north of Montreal and keep onwards using the 417.

- Go past Casselman and exit on Limouge Road, where you see on the right a new waterpark.

- Turn right and keep going through Limouge until road bends to right.

- After the bend, road will turn sharply to left -- GO STRAIGHT.

- Keep on road until gravel and turn left at first gravel intersection.

- Going east, drive until open parking lot - there are a lot of trail entrances.

- You can drive back down road, cross over and continue west for more trails.
