Garmin 62 ou Delorme Earthmate PN-60W avec SPOT??

Salut tout le monde!!

Moi et mes questions!!

Je regarde sérieusement le nouveau Garmin 62S jusqu'à ce que je vois le futur Delorme Earthmate PN-60W qui combine le SPOT...

Ce dernier sort début aout 2010...

Moi qui n'a jamais eu de GPS, serait-ce un bon choix de combiner SPOT avec GPS??

Si oui, puisque vous avez en majorité les Garmin de série 60; Sera t'il compatible avec vos tracés? Vos cartes??

Je crois que pour les tracés et les routes il n'y aurait pas de problème a échanger avec les Garmin par exemple. Parfois il faut seulement fair eune conversion de fichier au pire. Je crois pas que tu puisses loadé n'importe quoi comme carte dedans par contre mais celle de Delorme semble pas mal. Les cartes aérienne sont cool en tout cas et tu peux commandé une carte topographic de quad Canada.

La fonction de spot intégré semble pas mal aussi. Tu écrit ton message et ca l'envoie sur ton compte facebook, twitter ou ailleur. La connexion du spot te coute quelque chose si tu n'étais pas au courant, comme un cellulaire par exemple.

Et dernière chose intéressante, il y a un connecteur 12V pour l'auto disponible, batterie lithium rechargeable, chargeur pour la maison, un mount pour la moto...

Je nje pense vraiment a un probleme d'echange de fichier (le format gpx estuniversel etde toute facon il existe un tas de "moulinette")

LA carto disponible serait le seul point que je verifierais

Thank you for your email. I would recommend the Garmin GPSMAP 62s, this is the better unit in my opinion. The Earthmate is also not available yet, our ETA for this has changed multiple times. Garmin mapping will be better than DeLorme in Canada as well. Garmin is the more popular brand and because of this you will be able to share waypoints and other data wirelessly between two Garmin units that support this (Garmin Oregon, 78, and other 62 units).
