Wildgood Publié 22 Mars 2013 Partager Publié 22 Mars 2013 (édité) Wow c'est bien joli ca!!! Voici la description de l'objet: Norton International, Manx, ES2, 16H, Commando, Rotary, Aircraft Engine. Apologies for the list of Norton bikes, but if you are a serious collector, you probably havn't got one of these! Norton NR731 (previously P73) Rotary Wankel UAV aircraft engine. This engine was developed by Norton in the 80's and early 90's for use in military drone aircraft, using technology from the rotary motorcycle engines. Air cooled by prop wash and forward speed, the engine has a chamber capacity of 208cc, and a staggering output of 38hp. Lubrication is by a small crank driven pump, fed by the square tank on the back of the engine. A petroil mix was used as well. An interesting piece to display with your collection, or the more adventurous might like to get it running . . . . very loud, with a 6" exhaust stub! The engine has had little use, and was stripped, oiled and loosely re-assembled over 25 years ago. The winning bidder will have the chance to buy an identical engine, with a slightly damaged 'Norton' badge, and a complete prop.
